Emma Schmeidler

"After three years at ISB, I have grown as a global citizen. ISB provided the opportunity to study in a global environment, enriched by cultural differences and uniqueness. Enrolling in the IB Diploma program has not only challenged me, but has prepared me for my future beyond High School. The courses and such activities as CAS and ToK, have allowed me to explore my interests and become more globally aware. Using what ISB has taught me, I plan to study Communications at Pennsylvania State University next Fall."

Dixa Thakrar

"My four years at ISB have been the most exciting, mind-stretching and satisfying years of my life. The rigour and breadth of the IB Diploma, coupled with the dedication of my teachers, have undoubtedly shaped me, preparing me for the years to come. I have thoroughly enjoyed the music activities offered, finding them a pleasurable break from my schoolwork. Attending ISB has been more than an academic experience; it has been an adventure in cultural and social integration, embodying the ideal of “Unity in Diversity”. For me, the ISB has been a perfect learning platform! Next year, I intend to study medicine in the UK."

Ella Stanbrook

"The wide range of opportunities provided by ISB means that you are able to get involved with all manner of extra-curricular activities. It is a chance for you to take a break from your intense academic work and relax with such things as MUN, sports teams, and numerous CAS activities such as creative cookery, design technology and ceramics. I would encourage everyone to take part in these activities as whilst in the IB, you will need an opportunity to let off some steam! After the ISB I intend to study International Relations at the London School of Economics."

Tom Hillard

"I’ve attended the ISB for ten years now and have appreciated the support that has helped guide me through a challenging IB Diploma. The High School is culturally diverse and provides a friendly learning environment, which has furthered me both academically and socially. I have found the School’s sports teams a welcome break from my study and regularly play both football and badminton at a highly competitive level. After the ISB I plan to study Chemistry in the UK."

Maxime Rigaudy

"The IB Diploma programme is a rigorous programme which has prepared me for my future not only academically but also socially. The multicultural environment that I experienced in my six years of study at ISB has contributed to making me who I am today through extracurricular activities such as Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES), high school musicals and team sports. After my IB Diploma I intend to study medicine in the UK."

Johan Jacob

"The IB Diploma is a course that moulds you for the future. The course is demanding, reflective and insightful and helps one to follow their passion. To ensure that one can respond to current world issues and understand more about international relations, I can recommend the MUN activity. After ISB I will study Mechanical Engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology."

James Macpherson

"Coming from a dissimilar educational system in Canada, my teachers at ISB facilitated a flawless transition into the IB Diploma. With this, I have gained what I consider to be an invaluable academic and cultural education. Next year I intend to read Medicine in the United Kingdom."

Amilee Bishop

"The 3 years I have spent at the ISB have been absolutely wonderful! From my first day, I have felt welcomed by both students and teachers, and I could not imagine a better environment for completing my IB Diploma. It's certainly been a challenging program, but the sunny hallways and sunny personalities have made the experience that much more enjoyable, and I know I will feel very accomplished when I graduate! Next year I will go to college in the US, majoring in Engineering."
