I am delighted to welcome you to Pre-School. We are fully aware that these initial years of a child's education are of utmost importance. We aim to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where all students feel comfortable and safe.

Pre-School is dedicated to the growth of each and every student. Our experienced team is committed to developing and guiding the innate drive in each child through inquiry and exploration.

Our philosophy is based on the recognition of the uniqueness and individuality of each child. We provide a rich variety of activities in a stimulating and challenging environment where we build on the learning and wealth of experiences each child has both within and outside the family unit. We support children's interests, build up their self-esteem and confidence, and respond to spontaneous events, in all areas of their development.

To enter Pre-School 1, children must be 3 years old before 31st August. Young children face many challenges when they enter an Early Years environment; it is important that both you and your child are ready for this step. Separation and personal independence are important areas to consider.

As parents are the child's first and most important teachers, we aim to create a co-operative atmosphere between parents and teachers. To smooth the transition between home and School, be positive with your child and reassure them that it will be a good experience. We offer a flexible programme to cater for the needs of each student, which may be discussed on an individual basis with the class teacher.

Pre-School students can also take part in the Extra-Curricular Programme (ECP) after the regular school day, if interest and energy levels allow.
