We have received a lovely letter from UNICEF regarding recent fundraising for Haiti at ISB. Additionally, they have sent some photographs of the work UNICEF is doing in Haiti.

The letter thanks ISB for the CHF 11,457.20 donated from the "Coin Chain" and bake sale fundraising event in June 2010.
More than 2 million people were affected by the earthquake, most of them children. Almost half the population of Haiti is under 18 years old.
UNICEF has been in Haiti for some time and thanks to help from donations it can provide clean water, food and immunizations against diseases as well as additional supplies such as tents and educational materials.
