ISB Virtual Choir singing "I Am But A Small Voice"
We hope you enjoy this performance by ISB’s first ever ‘Virtual Choir’, featuring over one hundred singers across Grades 2-12, alumni, staff and parents. “I Am But A Small Voice” was composed by Kenyan-British songwriter Roger Whitaker in 1980. The lyrics were the winning entry in UNESCO’s “Children Helping Children” songwriting contest of the same year. Written by Odina E. Batnag, a 13-year-old girl from the Philippines, the words speak of peace, aspiration and unity. These attributes, along with the song’s international genesis, are particularly resonant for us all.
Special thanks to all virtual choir participants, to the ISB Music Department, and to our audiovisual technicians for their dedication in bringing this project to life.
