Happy New Year and Welcome Back!
We hope you’ve enjoyed spending a restful and meaningful time together as a family over the winter break. This week we have had the pleasure of welcoming a number of new students into our Junior School community and would like to extend this warm welcome to our new families.
Settling into any new year provides a good opportunity to reflect on the year ahead, but also a moment to reflect on the year we have left behind. In spite of the uncertainty and challenges that 2021 brought, for many there were also many moments of kindness, reacquaintance, clarity, connection and gratitude.
In thinking about how you would like your new year to look, we’d encourage you to choose five words that speak to how you’d like your 2022 to look. Nouns, verbs, anything – just words that feel meaningful and important to you.
To remind you of your vision for 2022, consider writing these words on a note card or poster, to put it in your diary, next to your laptop, as your desktop background, on your office wall, on the fridge or bathroom mirror - essentially, anywhere you’ll see it everyday!
“And suddenly, you just know it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings”.
We would encourage you to do this with your children too, as guiding inspiration for your whole family this coming year.
As a reminder and for those who don’t yet have this information, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at any time should you need anything. We will always be happy to arrange a time to chat on the phone, online, or in person.
With wintery wishes,
