We remain in contact with the responsible Swiss authorities and are collaborating with other international schools across Switzerland. This is a very rapidly changing situation; information displayed on this page will be updated regularly as new data is received.

  • Changed ISB's risk level from Low Medium to Medium - High.
  • Distance Learning is in effect for Grade 9 - 12 students through Friday, 28 November.
  • Face-to-Face Learning is in effect for EC1 - Grade 8 students.
  • The Federal guidelines for isolation and quarantine have been included below for reference.
  • The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) introduced additional measures to further contain the spread of the coronavirus in Switzerland.
  • The FOPH will require anyone entering Switzerland from certain countries and areas to quarantine for 10 days. The FOPH regularly updates the list of countries and areas concerned and we recommend you regularly visit the FOPH site to review the updated list.
  • France has announced a lockdown starting 30 October to 1 December. Additional information can be found on the federal government website.
  • Germany has announced a one-month partial lockdown beginning 2 November. Additional information can be found on the federal government website.
  • All families are required to submit the ISB COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines Policy.
  • ISB has implemented Health and Safety Measures that will be updated according to the latest situation.
