International School Basel has three campuses, conveniently located just south of Basel City, in the communities of Reinach and Aesch.

Each campus is conveniently located on a major tram line, parallel to the A18 motorway.

Transportation

ISB Rideshare Map

Although we don't offer a school bus service, we do have a growing number of families making use of our ISB Ridesharing Map. Parents can join the map and connect with other ISB families who live nearby. This service may be used by those who travel by car or public transportation to share chaperoning responsibilities.

PEDESTRIAN AND BIKE LANES

For those living in the nearby residential areas, the pedestrian and bicycle paths around each campus allow for easy cycling or walking to school.

Public Transport

Basel's safe and efficient public transportation network conveniently links all three International School Basel campuses along the #11 tram line. On weekdays, trams run every 7- 8 minutes, stopping directly in front of our Aesch and Reinach campuses, and only a short walk to Fiechten Campus. Our Reinach Campus is a 15-minute tram ride from Basel (SBB) train station.

Private car

Although we encourage taking public transport, families arriving by car take the main A18 motorway with convenient exits near each of our schools.
