ISB is the only school in the Basel region to offer three of the highly regarded International Baccalaureate programme in English: Primary Years Programme (Early Childhood to Grade 5, also offered in English-German Dual Language Programme); the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6 to 10); and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11 & 12).

To reinforce our strong academic programme, ISB also offers students a comprehensive wellbeing programme, with a strong team of counsellors and school psychologist who support students' social and emotional needs to ensure long-term self-esteem and confidence in themselves.

Inclusive Support for Every Learner
As an inclusive and non-selective school, ISB supports students with additional learning needs as well as students requiring additional support in English. Our support team also includes a speech therapist, counsellors and a school psychologist.

A Holistic Education Beyond the Classroom
At ISB, we know that every child is unique and so is the way we learn. We offer students a broad and holistic education comprising a multitude of activities ranging from sports to arts (music, drama and visual arts), clubs and activities to service learning opportunities and much more - all geared towards delivering a well-rounded, balanced education to our young people.
