At International School Basel, we provide a positive and inclusive sports culture that develops social and emotional skills, molds character, and prepares our students for competition while in school and for life.

Our athletics programme provides a range of competitive sports' training sessions, friendly games and official tournaments to our Grade 4 – 12 students.

International Schools Sports League

This organisation is made up of five international schools from northern and southern Switzerland. Sports tournaments are organised in a wide range of sports and for three levels of competition based on skill level/grade groupings.

Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS)

Swiss Group of International Schools

This organisation exists to support international schools in Switzerland and neighbouring countries in achieving their educational goals and to provide representation on issues of common interest. Approximately 40 schools are involved in sports, the great majority of whom participate in tournaments held throughout the year in a wide range of sports and over six categories based on age-groupings.

International Schools Athletics Association (ISAA)

International Schools Athletics Association

This organisation is made up of 15 international schools from seven countries. Currently, the league hosts events for the following Varsity Teams: Basketball, Cross-Country, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
