Libraries at ISB play a key role both in student learning and in developing a lifelong love of reading.

Together with teachers and parents, the School Librarians offer support for all three International Baccalaureate programmes studied at ISB (Primary Years [PYP], Middle Years [MYP] and Diploma Years [DP]). The libraries offer a wide variety of resources, such as books, online research resources, eBooks, audio books, DVDs, etc. in many languages. The libraries share one unified catalogue; students on any campus can request resources and have them delivered to their campus library.

Throughout the School year, the libraries host events celebrating the joy of reading, such as story time for our younger students, readings and talks by visiting authors and poets, Battle of the Books and visits from other members of our community. These varied events reflect the diversity of learning displayed by the international community at the School. Many students also volunteer to work in the libraries.
