Reaching out into the local community.

Dedicated to developing opportunities for increasing positive interaction between ISB students, parents, staff and local communities, the Community Outreach Group (COG) is a volunteer group consisting of parents and teachers.

COG is responsible for the InDialogue Speaker Series: a popular and well-attended forum for sharing diverse opinions and intellectual enrichment between the ISB and local communities. It reaches through its Café Conversation groups in Aesch and Reinach, supports the service component of the ISB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes and recognises student involvement in the community through its Outreach Awards.

Maintains an Outreach Database for ISB Staff.

Link with Aesch Gemeinde's (municipality) charity in Burkino Faso.

Offers annual Outreach Awards to students.

Organises a clothing collection for the Basel Asylum Center.
