In these days of social distancing, teaching drama has been a challenge for drama teachers around the world. Following on the 'inspirational' Foundation Course in Puppetry led by Oliver Hymans, Grade 9 Drama Teacher, Julia McKelvey, came up with the wonderful idea of students designing and creating puppets with the final part of the project being a puppet show.
Alie Fordyce and Selina von Jackowski are hugely successful track and field athletes. Both ISB Alumni (Class of 2015), they studied in the US after graduating from ISB and have gone on to compete at college and national levels. In a video call with Grade 9 students they shared tips on how to efficiently set goals and embrace nervousness and provided words of wisdom that they had learned through their experiences.

Earlier this year, Owen Richards, Grade 12, and Josh Downey, an ISB graduate ('20), came up with an idea to create art with some of ISB's intensive needs students and to display it on a virtual art exhibit.
